Automatic Pipe Cleaning Station

New Automated Solution for Efficient Cleaning of Air Feed Lines
Automatisk rensestasjon

Product Details

Developed for efficient and reliable cleaning of feed pipes by automatically sending cleaning sponges through the pipe system. The unit is installed in the same location as the existing manual cleaning station and is fully integrated with FeedStation, enabling easy control both locally and remotely.

A rotating magazine stores multiple cleaning sponges ready for use, allowing the system to launch them automatically or manually as required. The solution ensures consistent and reliable pipe cleaning, reduces the need for manual handling, and contributes to more stable operation of the feeding system.

Key Features

  • Patented product owned by ScaleAQ (Patent Pending)
  • Compatible with feeding systems using Ø76.1 mm feed pipes
  • Retrofit solution – installed in the same location as the manual cleaning station
  • Equipped with 8 sponge tubes for easy loading and refilling
  • Tapered inlet and outlet in the magazine tubes eliminate pinch points and reduce the risk of sponge damage
  • Controlled through FeedStation, with both automatic and manual sponge launch options

Why is a Pipe Cleaning Station Critical in a Feeding System?

  • Consistent Feed Transport
Prevents the build-up of feed residues and ensures a stable flow through the pipe system.
  • Improved Feed Quality
Reduces pellet breakage and dust, helping maintain feed quality all the way to the fish pen.
  • Lower Operational Risk
Prevents blockages and unexpected downtime during critical feeding periods.
  • Extended Equipment Lifetime
Reduces wear on pipes, bends, and other system components.
  • Better Economics
Improved feed conversion and reduced maintenance contribute to lower operating costs.

Regular cleaning of feed pipes is essential to ensure consistent feed transport, maintain feed quality, reduce equipment wear, and minimize operational risk. At the same time, it protects both production performance and profitability through improved FCR, fewer interruptions, and lower maintenance costs.
