Mercatus User Conference in Bergen

September 10th -12th, ScaleAQ Software invites the aquaculture industry to its first user conference on digital solutions related to planning, optimization, and analysis of biological production.

The digitalization of operational equipment has increased our access to large amounts of data related to biomass growth. This creates expectations that biological ERP systems like Mercatus will be able to take advantage of these new opportunities and that the data flow in and out of the system is simple, automated, and secure. Livestock systems that cannot keep up with the increasing demands for integration and simplification has already become a bottleneck in the digital infrastructure, hindering both innovation and efficiency.

Two-way dialogue between customers and developers

The user conference offers a unique opportunity to update yourself on the progress of both the Mercatus portfolio and our other software products. You can discuss digital challenges with other colleagues in the industry or share your thoughts directly with the product owners. By bringing together product experts and users, we believe the conference will create new insights into the opportunities that lie in both today’s and tomorrow’s cloud-based software portfolio from ScaleAQ Software.

Integrations, APIs, artificial intelligence, and all the other buzzwords

There are still many in the aquaculture industry who spend time on manual registrations in legacy systems. As the requirements for reporting, analysis, and insight increase, secure data flow, robust integrations, and high data quality become prerequisites for efficient operations. In short; your biological ERP-system must keep up. At the conference, we will delve into what you can achieve with automated data flow via the ScaleAQ Cloud Service, and we will also show examples of how this flow can eliminate cumbersome work processes and create new insights for optimized growth and profitability. We will also demonstrate how we use artificial intelligence in production planning to create the best possible tailored plan for each site.

Measure your biological performance

Planning large-scale aquaculture is an enormously complex puzzle that outsiders hardly comprehend. The production plan is perhaps the most important management document in any farming company, planning both short term and long term value creation in great detail. But a plan is a plan actual performance is something else. At the conference, we will show you how to measure your biological performance based on historical data, and of course, we will also cover how to identify areas for improvement.

For Mercatus customers only, but it is easy to become one!

These are just a few examples of what the conference will cover. The main point is to help our customers become as efficient farmers as possible. And if you’re not a Mercatus customer, perhaps it’s time to consider a switch? It’s much easier to switch to Mercatus than you think.

In the meantime, our existing customers can continue to enjoy benefits such as:

  • A simple, modern, and self-explanatory user interface
  • Works on tablets and mobile phones, you can use the applications in the field
  • Continuous updates: new versions are released weekly
  • SSO (single-sign-on)
  • Feed data and environmental data are imported directly into the system
  • Harvest results are imported directly into the system
  • Lice count data from lice cameras is imported directly into the system
  • Optimization of the production plan in seconds
  • A dedicated finance module updated every night based on changes in biomass
  • Cloud-based service for real-time calculation of accurate feed inventory
  • Documented interfaces for APIs
  • Experienced support department (24/365); responds quickly and solves issues efficiently
