Rune has always enjoyed being social, interacting with people, and loves to solve challenges by thinking outside of the box. After less than a year as a sales trainee, he started his current position as advisor – where he operates as a liaison between the market and the plethora of professional environments ScaleAQ accommodates.

With his inherent passion for technical solutions, consulting for the aquaculture industry comes naturally to him. In addition, every day, his job necessitates dialogue – which suits Rune’s outgoing personality well. Morten is responsible for following up on the status and finances of wide variety of projects and activities, while also contributing his assistance to colleagues as they come up with new ideas, projects and development proposals. He is a skilled coordinator – juggling many projects at the same time. Making his capacity all the more impressive, is the fact that Morten also follow up students, ensures that the IT-systems have a sensible structure, whilst also having the capacity to do spontaneous tasks – because he thinks they are fun!

Morten greatly appreciates the high level of trust employees receive. One of the best things about working for ScaleAQ is that the industry is unpredictable. New and exciting challenges emerge all the time; Morten is in his element when he is challenged, preferably right alongside his skilled colleagues.

Vegard started working for ScaleAQ whilst writing his master’s thesis – on electronic design in the aquaculture industry. Working for us, he got such good insight into the practical workings of the aquaculture industry, that he chose to remain’ with us full-time after finishing his thesis. At the moment, Vegard is a third-year product designer in electronics, working on system- and circuit board designs, programming and prototyping.

One of Vegard’s favorite things is to see his own products utilized by customers – especially since he has been highly involved in the design process.

We have been lucky enough to have Faruk on our team for 13 years. He possesses an important ability, to remain in full control of several complex situations at the same time – a trait which makes him perfectly suited to manage the production of pens on Frøya. In addition, he has the personnel responsibility for the employees on his production team.

Faruk is passionate about making processes more efficient, and thrives when working on versatile and interesting tasks. Luckily, in ScaleAQ, there is no shortage of those.

For our logistics engineer Truls, a regular day starts with a cup of coffee and meetings with partners in Asia. With colleagues, suppliers, and customers on multiple continents the work environment is global – something he enjoys very much.

Truls has been employed by ScaleAQ since the beginning of 2019, and is responsible for the flow of goods throughout the company. His job necessitates close dialogue with suppliers, alternating roles between being a project manager and a consultant. This flexibility is something Truls greatly appreciates with his position – as he loves challenges and personal development.
