This barge measures 40 x 20 meters and has plenty of space! It’s equipped with a 12 line feeding system, can load 600 tons of feed and 80 m³ of ensilage. In addition, it has loads of storage for equipment and a spacious deck. This barge is built with 4 cabins for the crew living on site and three guest cabins, an office, control room and a kitchen / living area.

We chose ScaleAQ when we were to invest in a new feed barge. One of the deciding factors for us was space. With the crew living onboard, it’s important that they can be comfortable outside of working hours as well. Everyone gets their own cabin with an ensuite bathroom. There is also a delicately designed gym for those who want to make use of it. Despite the barge being built in Norway, COVID-19 has made an active presence at the yard difficult for us. We want to praise the project of ScaleAQ for a job well done. So far we are very happy with the product and look forward to having it moored on site. The “Trollfjord” barge will be an important tool for us to ensure the highest standard of operation for personnel and fish.
