Modular Concept for Harsh Conditions

The silo section is modular, allowing the barges to be delivered with feed storage capacities ranging from 300 to 900 tonnes. In addition, the selector valves have been moved inside the barge structure, protecting them from weather and sea spray and allowing safe maintenance even in rough sea conditions. The barge can also be delivered with or without the LQ module on top. This makes the Aasgard series flexible and adaptable to all site conditions while providing a safe and comfortable workplace for the crew.

Aasgard is a solid and spacious work platform with large storage capacity and excellent crew facilities. The Basic version offers a more compact layout but includes the option of a changing room, bathroom, lounge area with control station, and a small kitchen for meal breaks. In the LQ version, the additional space can be utilised for cabins, lounge areas, and office/control room facilities.

Built for sites with significant wave heights of up to 6.5 metres, the barge can be equipped with a Hybrid Power System capable of reducing fuel consumption by up to 60%. The barge is delivered with a ballast system, dedicated veterinary room, substantial ensiling capacity, and generous tank capacities.

The interior layout can largely be customised to meet customer requirements.
