- Highly recommended for prolonging the lifespan of the floating collar
- Safer mooring for wellboats and large vessels
- Prevents damage and fatigue in mooring brackets
- Used on two standard brackets
Gentle and Efficient Load Distribution
The Large Boat Mooring is designed to shift the load from the mooring lugs and brackets to the knee braces on standard brackets. This reduces the risk of mooring bracket failure, which could otherwise lead to an expensive and time-consuming bracket replacement during operations.
By using the knee brace as an attachment point, the standard bracket may still experience some load, but it will not be classified as a critical incident. Any necessary bracket replacement can be carried out during the next scheduled maintenance inspection, increasing operational reliability.

Quick and Easy Installation
The Large Boat Mooring is easily installed using a round sling and rope shackle solution. Between the rope shackles, an 18 mm Aquaneema splice ensures optimal torque distribution, regardless of the approach angle from the vessel.
Adapting to Weather and Needs
In calm conditions, two Large Boat Moorings may be sufficient. In rough weather or under increased loads, additional units are recommended to maintain a safe and stable mooring setup.
